Carmine Cicalese is the President and Founder of CYBER CIC, LLC a consulting business to provide customers with cyber, information and cognitive security strategies and courseware. CYBER CIC assists the Indiana National Guard with the CyberTropolis range strategy and resource plan and advocates for CypherPath – a next generation Software Defined Infrastructure operating system. Carmine teaches an Introduction to Cyber Warfare to Navy Program Managers so they can design cyber resilient airworthy platforms. He also advises National Defense University on cyber wargaming.
Carmine draws from his twenty-nine-year military career culminating as a United States Army Colonel on the Army Staff as the Chief of Cyberspace and Information Operations. He led the Army’s efforts to establish the necessary strategy and policy for its contributions to the cyber mission force and tactical cyberspace capability. Throughout his military career, he led demographically and functionally diverse organizations accumulating a wealth of leadership knowledge and experiences in a variety of austere, garrison and educational situations. Carmine earned a Masters of Science from University of Maryland University College and a Masters of Science in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College. He has significant public speaking and teaching platform experience. Carmine volunteers for the Military Cyber Professionals Association and for the Knights of Columbus.
