CARMINE CICALESE

President and Founder of CYBER CIC, LLC

Biography

Carmine served for twenty-nine years in the United States Army. He culminated his military career as a United States Army Colonel serving as the Army Staff Chief of Cyberspace and Information Operations. He led the Army’s efforts to establish the necessary strategy and policy for its contributions to the cyber mission force and tactical cyberspace capability.

Now, Carmine leads CYBER CIC, LLC, to serve eclectic clientele in making better cyber, information and cognitive security decisions. He applies his experiences of leading functionally and demographically diverse organizations in a variety of austere, office, and educational situations.

CYBER CIC has served multiple DoD cyber training environments, information warfare tabletops and exercises and weapon system engineers. CYBER CIC provides consulting expertise to federal government vendors. Most recently, CYBER CIC diversified to provide strategic cyber consulting to wealth management clients and tech startups positioned to serve wealth management clients.

Carmine possesses a Qualified Technical Expert certification to serve on corporate boards. He volunteers as a mentor for the Military Cyber Professionals Association and as a Board Advisor for the Information Professionals Association. He also serves as a pre-publication editor for Joint Forces Quarterly.

His education includes a M.S. Strategic Studies, United States Army War College; a M.S. Telecommunication Management, University of Maryland Global Campus; and a B.S., United States Military Academy.
