IPA is seeking a summer intern to support the organization’s communications, outreach, and events. The internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students seeking a degree in a field related to cognitive security, communications, and/or public policy. Students from other fields of study will be considered as well.
About the Role:
IPA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to assist with a variety of projects that support our mission. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, event coordination, communications, and strategic engagement. The intern will work closely with IPA leadership and volunteers to execute key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Support: Assist with planning, logistics, and execution of IPA events, including webinars, conferences, and chapter gatherings.
- Content Development: Support blog content creation, research, and editorial tasks.
- Social Media Management: Help curate, schedule, and post content across IPA’s social media platforms to engage and grow our community.
- Chapter Coordination: Assist in organizing and supporting regional IPA chapter events and activities.
- Marketing & Outreach: Contribute to membership recruitment drives and marketing initiatives to expand IPA’s reach.
- Educational Initiatives: Support the planning and development of certificate programs and educational content.
Internship dates; Hourly Rate; Weekly Hours
- Rate: $22/hr
- 20-30 hours/wk
- Dates: Monday 2 June 2025 – Friday 15 Aug 2025 (start and end dates negotiable based on student summer schedule)
