Steven Bradley works at the intersection of technology, security operations, and policy to advance U.S. national cyber defense. He has over 20 years of experience managing the development and application of advanced data analytics solutions to support a variety of national security missions, including cybersecurity, through his work at the Department of Energy National Laboratories. He has also led cyber threat intelligence teams engaged in threat analysis, attack simulation and threat hunting. In July 2020 he became the director of the newly-formed Cognitive Security Intelligence Center, and in August, he published a paper through the Carnegie Endowment Partnership for Countering Influence Operations entitled: “Securing the United States from Online Disinformation—A Whole-of-Society Approach.”
IPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to exploring the role of information activities, such as influence and cognitive security, within the national security sector and helping to bridge the divide between operations and research. Its goal is to increase interdisciplinary collaboration between scholars and practitioners and policymakers with an interest in this domain.
