Dear IPA Members,
After two rewarding years serving as President of the Information Professionals Association (IPA), I have formally resigned from the role.
It has been an honor to lead IPA during a period of meaningful growth and transformation. Together, we strengthened our professional community, expanded programming, elevated thought leadership in information and cognitive security, and positioned IPA to reach its next organizational threshold. I am incredibly proud of what we have built and confident in the foundation now in place for continued advancement.
Effective immediately, Chip Bircher, our Executive Director, has assumed the duties of Acting President and will coordinate the search effort for the next President. Chip’s steady leadership, institutional knowledge, and commitment to IPA’s mission ensure continuity and stability as the organization moves forward.
IPA’s trajectory remains strong. I look forward to continuing to support the association and its mission in new ways, and I remain deeply committed to the professional community we have cultivated together.
