Pinnacle Contingency Plans in the Event of a Government Shutdown

IPA Pinnacle 2026 is just over a week away. We wanted to reach out, since we are aware of the potential for a government shutdown, to communicate our plans directly.

If there is a government shutdown that lasts through Pinnacle on February 9-11, 2026, we intend to continue to hold the conference portion of the event on February 9-10. We have confirmed with our U.S. military and government speakers that in the event of a shutdown, they intend to participate in the conference, either in-person or virtually. To preserve the value of the Shark Tank opportunity, if there is a shutdown, we will reschedule a one-day Shark Tank event as soon as possible following the reopening of the federal government.

We hope that we don’t need to implement any contingency planning but want you to be aware of our advance planning. We thank our sponsors for their amazing support for Pinnacle 2026 and thank you, our attendees, for your patience as we developed an impactful and unprecedented conference lineup.
