DESCRIPTION:USINDOPACOM\, the Diamond Head Chapter of the Association of Old Crows\, and the OSD Phoenix Challenge team welcome you to the 11th Annual Pacific Information Operations & Electromagnetic Warfare Symposium. \nThe 2022 format will be as follows: \nOctober 17 – Live and recorded virtual presentations will be conducted on Monday. INDOPACOM J39 will plan a limited schedule of live engagements with visiting allied and partner military delegations. A hosted social will be held that evening in Waikiki for visiting allied and partner military\, industry sponsors\, and INDOPACOM J39 and Service Component IO and EW personnel. This is the place to pick up your name badge and network with other participants who have travelled\, and J39 personnel\, over a beverage and pupus. \nOctober 18 & 19 – Unclassified plenary sessions will take place in-person at the Hale Koa Hotel. A hosted evening social in Waikiki area follows the end of the first day of the in-person plenary on 18 Oct. \nOctober 20 & 21 CLASSIFIED plenary – On the 20\, the CLASSIFIED plenary sessions begin with the morning session set at S/REL TO USA\, DEU\, FRA\, JPN\, KOR\, AND FVEY. SUMMARY:9th Annual Information Operations & Electronic Warfare Symposium
DESCRIPTION:The theme for the 2020 IO/EW Symposium\, “All Domain Operations from Competition into Conflict\,” will focus on how IO and EW contribute to all-domain warfighting challenges\, as well as their contributions to achieving a Free and Open Indo-Pacific during competition. This year’s theme builds on the work of the 6th Annual Symposium in 2017\, which focused on the Army’s Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) Concept. The Army’s now well-established MDO Concept focuses on optimizing the land force contribution to a Joint fight in multiple domains\, and provides a strong foundation for the development of a Joint All-Domain Operations Concept\, both of which are intended to be employed across the spectrum of operations from competition to conflict. The 2020 theme also benefits from the presentations and work accomplished at the 7th Annual Symposium in 2018\, focused on the roles of IO and EW in overcoming A2/AD challenges\, which are a driver for the development of the Joint All-Domain Operations (JADO) concept.
